Italian term
Strutture
Italian to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)

groups/organisations/etc
it's not possible to tell from the context but it seems we're talking here about groups of people, organised in some way.
Assuming that is the case, then a word like "group", "team,", "squad", "organisation", "cohort" etc. might do.

Comment: "Thanks so much Tom. I like Graham's "team", though I actually plumbed for "groups", in the end. Much obliged to ALL for the help. Chris."

James (Jim) Davis
: They are usually physical in English unless qualified with something like "organisational structures" and here the aren't.

units
Since they seem to be people from the context. Unit is a good generic term.
