I also found the "rental/leasing" in Cabanellas, but Moliner derives this from "llevar" in the sense of "soportar" (check source country. My Cabanellas is a LatAm edition). This makes sense if you consider that many corporation bylaws do not require the secretary to be a member of the Board.
