Example: Als Heilpflanze wird Estragon unter anderem in Verbindung mit rheumatischen Beschwerden und Skorbut angewendet. Darüber hinaus soll Estragon bei
- Nierenträgheit,
- Magenschwäche,
- Appetitlosigkeit,
- Wassersucht und
- Muskelkrämpfen
Abhilfe schaffen und die Magensaftbildung fördern.

I personally don't like the term sluggish kidney, but as I say, this is just something personal. Nierenträgheit in German just means that one retains water -- poss. due to kidneys not functioning properly.
