A "tamper with" jelentése piszkálás. A példában a kezelőszervek piszkálásáról van szó, amihez természetesen nem kell megbontani a készüléket:
"Do not tamper with any controls in AVE cabinet (these are pre-set for optimum operation/performance)."

: az 2. és 3. példában nincs szó a garanciáról, ez simán biztonságtechnikai dolog. A garancia elvesztésével kapcsolatban a "tamper with" használatos

: A "tamper with" piszkálást jelent, ehhez nem feltétlenül kell megbontani a berendezést. Pl. bedug valami a szellőzőnyíláson, kezelőszerveket elállít (lásd hivatkozás).

Discussion
A garancia elveszik, ha illetéktelenek megbontják a készüléket. A készülék "házilagos" felnyitását, szétszedését jelenti.
Kérlek adj szövegkörnyzetet, mert ha csak két szót bedobsz, akkor vad dolgok jöhetnek ki. Megbontja az ágyat, megbontja a rendet, megbontja az egyensúlyt, stb. ezek mind más angol szóval fordítandók. Mit jelent, hogy készüléket megbonani?
