I'm a bit confused by this, here are the relevant? bits:
"MeOH wird je nach Bedarf in den Vorbrenner dosiert. Ist der Verdampfer kaelter als seine Solltemperatur so wird AUF diesen GEREGELT. Ist die Verdampfertemperatur groesser als seine Solltemperatur so wird AUF den Vorbrenner GEREGELT."
1) what is it trying to say? regeln auf =?= feeding into?
2) any proper way to say this in English?

Sounds to me as if the control output is switched according to the process value.
If the process value is lower than the setpoint, control action is applied to the evaporatir. If the measured temperature exceeds the setpoint, the control action is applied to the burner.
