English term

water slope (see context)

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering Instrumentation
It's one of the steps to calibrate a Water in Oil Analyzer:

On completion of the laboratory analysis and returning to the calibration of the analyser, the next response from the machine is to display the raw value of R (a raw measurement value directly proportional to the dielectric constant of the fluid), the fluid temperature, and the next operator prompt which is
Water Content % - Type in the known water content and (cr) which advances the menu to:
Slope (dR/d%)? – An intelligent estimate of the ***water slope*** must now be entered. If an exact value is not known, then enter 0.0300 for common crude. Enter the value of the water slope and then type (cr).
Temperature Compensation (%/C, Sign Required!)? – Type in the temperature compensation value if known. If an exact value is not known then use -0.030 for light crude. NOTE: The temperature compensation coefficient requires the negative sign. Enter the value of the coefficient and then type (cr).
Done (Y/N/esc) – Type Y to accept the calibration, N if any changes are necessary, or esc to abandon the updating of values.

O: talud del agua
