German to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
From a press release:
In Deutschland hat sich XXX zum wertmäßig größten YYYhersteller entwickelt; mit inzwischen mehr als 3.500 Mitarbeitern an 14 Standorten und einen Umsatz von deutlich über einer Milliarde Euro.

To describe a company as the largest manufacturer of YY "in terms of value" just doesn't sound right to me. Is there a better way of putting it? Would "in financial terms" be what is meant?

this one nags at me - it's a press release and the "Werte" of which they are speaking seem to be headcount/No. of branches/sales (turnover) - you need a word for all that! Problem is can't think of one word right now !

You might be able to say "in terms of market value" Market value is close to market capitalisation like has been suggested. The drawback with using market value could be that it is inclined towards investment jargon rather than general bussines/commerce!?

in terms of market capitalization

This is usually the term used when the company is not being explicitly compared to another based on sales, profit, etc.

...is how I see this here, especially since they are also listing the number of employees, so it doesn't seem to be referring merely to the financial value of the company....
