presumably the details in the extract correspond to some other details - perhaps their application forms for a process/procedure (the"contents of these forms)

extract from the civil register
I would suggest that the woridng would be better "This extract from the civil register corresponds...." and would agree that details is probably better. The details could be from a civil register of births, marriages, divorces or deaths.

I'm guessing this is something to do with a marriage/divorce paper. The source is "civil" as opposed to "religious". Records are kept in church registries, but this event/entry is held in a magistrate's court probably.
I suspect also that the word "contents" would be better replaced with "details"; but would need more context to be sure.

It's really saying that this is a correct copy of what is held in the official (civil) register, for such matters (perhaps an immigrant record?). Then my suggestion about "details" still stands.
