Have just trawled through a marvellous site with a long list of tomato varieties, which I thought this might be, allowing for typos/incorrect transliteration. But no luck! http://store.tomatofest.com/SearchResults.asp for all those tomato lovers out there

caset de tomate is also found on the web. PRobably is a way of cooking tomato, and it might come from french (it sounds to me like french) but have no further idea of what it is

caset is a word of french origin ( http://gaceta.cicese.mx/print.php?topico=articulos&ejemplar=... ) . It is usually "cajeta" (MExico) which is a sort of caramel or sweet made of milk.

caset derives form the French word cassette , as used in spanish, it means little box...we use this term for ice cream too but femenine caseta.
