French term

ne pas mettre deux "crocodiles" dans le même marigot

French to English Art/Literary sayings
Short and sweet.
Profile of a businessman. He lists the above as one of his guiding principles.

Any suggestions of a suitable saying (or corruptions thereof welcome)? I read this one to be about not putting two thorny subjects (people or problems) into one restricted area where they're bound to beat each other witless.

never put two sharks in a fish pond

Since we are talking about a business man, here. He may appreciate the grin included. But there are others sentences.
Let me think about this later on.

don't put all your eggs in one basket

This is the direct equivalent of the french expression. In this context, I feel that it must relate to levels of risk for example.Hope this helps!
