keyed answers

English to Dutch Social Sciences Psychology Occupational Assessment
I came across the following sentence in a manual for occupational assessments: "Explain that you cannot comment on individual test items or their keyed answers, but do listen to concerns of the candidates and try to address these directly." I'm not sure how to translate these 'keyed answers'. I've heard of 'key questions', but I have the feeling that this is different. Any suggestions?

Misschien is het antwoord heel simpel: 'keyed' zou afgeleid kunnen zijn van 'to key':

1.Transfer or operate on (data), set (copy), or produce (text), by manipulating the keys of a keyboard. Bron: Shorter OED.

2.Intoetsen: opdrachten of gegevens typen op een toetsenbord. Bron: Woordenboek Informatica en Telecommunicatie.

juiste/goede antwoorden

Gaat het om multiplechoicevragen? Dan zouden ze dit kunnen bedoelen, zie:

'In contrast to the original cloze format in which the examinee produced the answer based on his knowledge, the keyed completion model supplies the test taker with a list of options. The next step in the design process, therefore, is to build the lists of possible responses: the “keyed” answers and the “intended” distractors.3 “Intended” distractors are those possibilities that the test designer believes will be attractive to the test taker whose language skills are not sufficiently internalized, whether in meaning or in form. These “intended” distractors and correct responses are then arranged in four or five columns. Items involving nominal, verbal, or other categorical entity are grouped with like entities. This is probably the most difficult stage in the design, as the “intended” distractors must be valid in some context, but must not be correct answers for the item or any other keys in the text.'
