The term and office of a rector are called rectorate. See Wikipedia for a description of rector as an academic post.

In Spain, the unviersity rector is assisted by vice-rectors. Thus it would be logical for their office to be called the vice rectorate.

: Exactly! The Provost es the North American equivalent of a vicerrector académico or vicerrector de ordenación académica.

I wanted to respond at greater length to Steve's comment. At my alma mater, we had the President (of the university system) and then the Chancellor (locally), and several Vice Chancellors, and even lower in the ranking were 4 provosts who ran the business side of administration of the various colleges. If you look at the description of Provost in the dictionary and compare it to rector, I can't imagine that this is an equivalent. If I was trying to make this sound more American, I'd use Chancellor, which according to Merriam-Webster's is a near equivalent of Rector...

Also, in checking further, I found this explanation on Wikipedia:
In most North American research universities and independent colleges, the provost is generally the chief academic officer. The incumbent is responsible to the institution's chief executive officer (variously called president, Chancellor, or rector) and governing board or boards (variously called the board of trustees, the board of regents, or the corporation) for oversight of all educational affairs and activities, including research and academic personnel. The deans of a university's various schools, colleges, or faculties, generally report to the provost or report jointly to the chief executive officer and the provost.

: There's no such thing as an "academic vice-rector" in the US, UK, or Canada. Both web sites you cited are from non-English speaking countries. In North America, at least, it's the Office of the Provost.

Since this is a title at a foreign university, I would not translate it, but because Stuart asked, this is the closest version I can get. I wouldn't want to sound "American" ...
