On its first visit to Sidney, the XXX Ballet is tucking its name behind the title of one of its three works on show, xxx.
What is it they are doing with their name? What does tuck behind mean in this context? Thank you

emphasising the title of the piece more than the name of the company
"To tuck" means to put something in its place, where it will remain. In the sense of the question, it is that the company has decided to "tuck" (hide away, place behind) its own name (which may be very prestigious or otherwise; in this case, very prestigious) in favour of the name of one of the works it is performing, in this case "A Million Kisses to My Skin", I believe.

: probably because it's name is unknown (first visit), while the title of the work is widely known

wanting the work to be prominent rather than the ballet company
In my opinion, the xxx Ballet wants the 'work' they are performing to take first place in the mind of the potential audience.
There may be a number of reasons for this:
* The ballet company is relative unknown and does not want that factor to deter the potential audience.
* The ballet company is well-known (though new to Sydney) and they do not want their name to supercede the works they are performing.
Should there be additional context, I am sure that will help.
Good luck, Urst!
