Norway's biggest hospital, Ullevaal University Hospital, has several places where food is served at reasonable prices. In some places dinner is served, but not in all. Some of them are visited mostly by employees of the hospital, but the biggest one is visited by all kinds of people: employees, patients, visitors and passers-by. The biggest and second biggest ones serve dinner as well as grilled food.
What is the best English word for all these places?

I guess you could use Hospital Cafeteria or Canteen
Just remembering Cafeteria is a place where food is not served by waiters or waitresses. More like self-service

no actually I think canteen is mostly used for a shop and the vicinity of a shop where not only food but basic items (toilet paper, cigarette, etc) are sold to masses of people staying at that place (can be hospital, prison, factory, barracks etc)... I think Cafeteria is used mostly for places where self-service food is offered/consumed.

Well at least in my language, Turkish,
Kantin = food + basic items, its like a convenient store
Kafeterya= Place (with tables + chairs) where self-service food is available

: Canteen to me has connotations having to do with summer camp, hotels, or even corporate offices. And it usually includes food AND sundries, and usually the food is not "cafeteria-style," but more packaged foods.
