Selected
designated bus parking areas
This is the best option here. "Bolsões de ônibus" often appear in coastal towns in Brazil, buses have to park in designated areas to avoid traffic on the seafront. One example of where this operates is in Holambra, in São Paulo State. Tour buses stop in a parking area in front of the exhibition centre, and access to the city centre is made on a special tour bus.

bus loops
In this context, a "loop" refers to a short bus route between two points. It sounds like this may be what the Portuguese term is referring to.
Boa sorte.

Or "loop routes" or simply "loops".

bus ranks
Hi, I'm pretty sure it's this. Or you could say 'births', but that wouldn't sound quite right. One thing's for sure, you would have a 'bolsão' at some sort of event like a Music festival for example, where many buses or taxis could park together, a special reserved place for these specific types of transport.
Hope that helps.
