Grammatical Analysis
Sentence: 他說的話都很有道理,可能因為他是心理學家。
1st Attempt: What he says certainly makes sense. Perhaps it is because he is a psychologist.
Question: I had two choices when translating the first part of this sentence:
i) What he says also makes good sense, and
ii) What he says certainly makes sense
Which of these is closer to being correct, or are they both equally good? Or is there still another alternative that I did not think of? Please explain.
As always you are welcome to comment on other parts of the sentence.

...makes a lot of sense.
i) What he says also makes good sense – with the ‘also’ in the sentence, it implies other people have also made some comments. The original Chinese sentence doesn’t seem to indicate any ‘third party’ involved. So, this is not my choice.
ii) What he says certainly makes sense – This sentence is closely matched with the Chinese original; one suggestion, for ”很”有道理, I prefer to say “makes a lot of sense”.

If you change the "also" in the first sentence to "all", then
(i) What he says all makes good sense!
is better describing "都"很有道理. And would be my choice over the (ii) sentence.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "Final rendering: All of what he says makes good sense. Perhaps it is because he is a psychologist.
Discussion: Please see http://homepage.mac.com/moogoonghwa/tsongkit/part2/II-9-g.html#s10 for further discussion.
Acknowledgement: It was a difficult choice between xuhuanyu comment and Communease's discussion, but I have finally opted for Commuease's entry for the awarding of points. Both were in fact very helpful. I do not believe that Ritchest was on the mark this time around.
My problem was to somehow make sense of the juxtaposition of the two adverbs 都 and 很, and I believe to have finally achieved this with everyone's help.
Best wishes from the land of no mountains surrounded by sea on many sides.

FYI
I will chose"What he says certainly makes sense". 其实, 这整句话的暗喻是: 关于心理学方面的话,他说的都对。 其它的,则未见得。

What he says certainly makes sense
"certainly" is too strong which is not implied in the Chinese original.
