Deferred means

postponed, put off until later.

With relative and absolute, I would guess they also refer to time.

Deferred absolute with a time specification, say, 14:40 would mean postpone this work (or whatever) until 14:40

Deferred relative with a number specification, say, 33.5 would mean: When you receive this command, postpone the work for 33.5 (seconds, minutes?) from THIS time.
