While I tend to agree with all three other explanations (cop out, I know, leaving the asker to make a decision on his/her own, but isn't that what KudoZ is all about!), I wish to suggest that the actual "assignment" may not refer to the VISIT but to the dispensing of the medication, which will lead to a visit for administration of the said medication.
