Portuguese term (edited):
(sobrecarga, competição)
Selected
(overloading, using the car in a competition)
OR: using the car competitively
In context, just writing "competition" here won't work. You really need a phrase like "competitive use" that makes clear the improper use of the vehicle.
See references.

the way I see it, competition includes all sort of misuse of the car(regarding competitions) such as races, so on. If you specify, many may be left out.
Don't know any other term, sorry.

: I don't mean to nitpick, but "competition" in reference to a motor vehicle can encompass more than racing. Such events may include, apart from racing, "tractor pulls" and "demolition derbies".
