Swedish term
I all längtan finns det en framtid
Swedish to English
Other
Business/Commerce (general)
business coaching
A nice colloquial saying for which I certainly can't think of the English at the moment - literally 'there is a future in all longing', but can anyone think of the 'proper' saying in (preferably UK) English, please?
TIA!

Necessity is the mother of invention
First thing that came to mind when I read the Swedish. Perhaps not as "lusty" but certainly equivalent.

"Where there's a will there's a way" is another alternative that comes to mind.
(I'm working from the understanding that you want the equivalent saying in English, not a translation.)

Comment: "Thanks very much - where there's a will there's a way fits nicely, I think."

Swedish term (edited):
I all lngtan finns det en framtid
While there is hope there is life
Kind of a free translation, but I mean "life" in the sense of growth, future, expansion. The maxim is "while there is hope, there is life", but you can turn it around: "while there is life, there is hope" - quite common as well.
