German term
Großvolumige Bauteile sollen durchgehend im Mehrwegblister verpackt werden
I know that KLT is Kleinladungsträger (which the client calls small, durable container). It's the word durchgehend I'm having trouble with. Does that mean simply that these parts should all be packed in a reusable blister pack? Then why "zusätzlich mit Blister ..." if they're already in one. Also, does anyone know what a Stegeinsatz (some type of insert) is called in English?
Thanks for any input, Beth.

Proposed translations
as a general rule
Langenscheidt does give "general" for durchgehend, and I'm sure that's what's meant.
HTH!
?thoroughly
durchgehend mean something like
thoroughly here? in other words, he
is making very sure that each individual
part is packed???
i also don't know stegeinsatz
See below
Durchgehend: continuously ("all the way")
Stegeinsatz: compartment insert, partitioning insert
So what the sentence means is that the larger parts are to stay in their invidividual reusable blister packs throughout the transportation procedure but that they are to be placed together in a large container, where - as an additional precaution - they are to be separated by means of a compartment insert or, alternatively, placed in loose blisters, which would also prevent them from damaging one another.
I hope this helps.

Den Begriff "durchgehend" wuerde ich daher hier als "from end to end" or "entirely" uebersetzen.
Stegeinsatz = cross brace packaging insert or reinforcement insert
I hope this helps.

2. my guess is that 'Blister' in the phrase 'zusätzlich mit Blister' means these plastic sheets with lots of littlw air pillows that are often used for packing -- thus what the sentence means is that the large parts should generally be packed in KL1234 reusable blister packs, together with plastic blister sheets or separators.
