Non-ProZ.com Dec 11, 2001:
Clarification Sven - this is not a question. I have posted this message as a way of contacting everyone on the FR>EN sub-community publicly.

Dee - I'm referring specifically to unpolite and/or aggressive personal remarks posted by certain members when replying to questions, and when commenting on asnwers suggested by others.

What kind of thing are you referring to? I have seen several postings where people have got a whole document translated for free, sentence after sentence, including items such as Date and Place, and some personal stuff meant perhaps for messages on porn sites (nothing against porn sites but I think it's an abuse of this venue to have one's msgs for that kind of stuff translated by people who are supposed to be helping other busy professionals like themselves in their jobs).

Otherwise it's wonderful and I am glad I joined.
