Bien es cierto que esta frase inglesa tiene un sentido más amplio (nadie captó la indirecta), pero es la única forma idiomática y concisa que se me ocurre de expresarlo.

it is not only Venezuelan Spanish!!

María Moliner:
no darse por aludido: simular alguien que nose da cuenta de que se le alude (ver disimular)

it means that everyone heard it, but made as if they did not hear it, or made as if what was being said did not apply to them.

Collins suggests:
no darse por aludido: pretend not to hear
no te des por aludido: don't take it personally
