Japanese term

排熱利用給湯暖房ユニット

Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation
What would be a good term for this?

I've been translating it as "cogeneration hot water heating unit", but now I'm starting to wonder....

Does that unit produce and g[ simultaneously or g[ and d ?

Cogenerative hot water room heating unit

I had one of these installed.
The correct _general_ term is cogeneratative water heater.
However, this word you've posted describes a unit that not only heats water for the kitchen and bathroom, but also for either underfloor or baseboard type heating.

I've included a URL which explains, this but it's not for a cogenerating type .

BTW, the Tokyo Gas term for these regenrative units is "Eco Jouzu" (ECOジョーズ)

The first link is for a unit that does floor heating.
The second link is for an Eco Jouzu unit. I think right now, there might not be any Eco Jouzu on the market that also can do the floor heating, but I could be wrong.

please note that 排熱利用 refers to heat reclamation from the hot gas exhaust.
