binocular glasses

Maybe. But you need to give us more background info.

About Us- hands-free binocular glasses
Johannes Büttgenbach, who had his classic cars listed on the afore-mentioned site, told me about his unique, new product ("Fernsichtbrille," as it is called in Germany).

“I’m an avid theatergoer and Binoculites are a godsend! They make everything twice as close so I can really see the expressions of the actors. “Unlike binoculars and opera glasses, I don’t have to hold them (which gets tiring!) and I don’t have to move my head back and forth too much.

Depends...

if you just mean an ordinary pair of glasses which are not "reading glasses", it could just be "glasses for long-sightedness" - the two main types of defective vision are "short-sightedness' (myopia) and "long-sightedness" (hyperopia). However, whether these glasses are commonly called "Fernsichtbrillen", I'm not sure - google references to "Fernsichtbrillen" tend to describe opera-type glasses, as in Kim's "binocular glasses"

prescription glasses

Would be my guess
Peer comment(s):

neutral John Bowden : Yes, but any glasses you get from an optician are "prescription glasses" by definition - "Fernsicht" describes the type of prescription.

Exactly. Therefore "prescription glasses" as opposed to (as stated in the question) "reading glasses", which can be purchased at the drugstore.
disagree Ian M-H (X) : Reading glasses and bifocals can also be "prescription glasses", as John correctly points out.
