If someone took all of the required courses, and successfully passed all the examinations, he/she could be granted both certificates; if he/she failed some examinations, or had bad performance during the school years, he/she could only got a graduation certificate meaning that he/she already taken those courses but not good enough to be granted a degree.

Certificate of bachelor's degree: 学士学位证书
