Swedish term
Neo–aktoritära
Oh boy
I had
***Neo–aktoritära*** stater och globala företag
and I took Neo–aktoritära to be a typo for Neo-auktoritära, especially as the speaker goes on to talk about authoritarian and autocratic states.
But the problem is that the "typo" [???] occurs a bit too often as in:
Den auktoritära modell som Maduro anammat är välkänd och kallas den ***”neo–aktoritära staten”. ***
or
***Neo–aktoritärerna*** måste stävjas där de är ömtåligast, intäktströmmarna från korrumperade företag till politiken.
So I think the writer has invented a word, a cross between "auktoritär" (authoritarian) and "aktoritär" (actor-like)
This could be explained by the fact that this potted history is of one company against a social and political backdrop, but kind of intertwined with one having an effect on the other.
Politics effects companies but companies effect politics too.
Okay, so that's the context and my take on it but I would appreciate a second (and more) opinions and help please.
Typo? play on words? real word that I can't find in a dictionary?
Thanks

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.
Discussion
Also in English and French (cos I live in France), the pronunciations would be pretty different whereas that is not the case according to Agneta in Swedish. So a typo based on similar pronunciation is more likely than I imagined.
Thanks all
I must have copied the word wrongly when I did a search cos now I'm getting hits. Can't find a definition but it does occur on Internet enough to make me think it's not a typo.
I think my first idea was correct
Someone who insists on being an actor, not authoritarian but not someone who is passive either
So maybe "actoritarian" but that does not seem to be a word in English really even though you can find it in nicknames etc.
