This has been asked before, but I just don't understand the explanations.
In this context, this is in a report on a patient who had liver transplant surgery:
"Hemorrhagia digestiva baja: ... múltiples episodios the rectorragias en el contexto de hemorroides internas ... cirugía recomiendan *medidas higiénico dietéticas*.
I can understand the "dietéticas" part, but I don't know what they mean by "higienico" in this context. How would we translate the entire phrase?
This report is from Spain -- Cataluña to be specific.
