compound offenses

According to Black’s Law Dictionary a compound offense is, “An offense composed of one or more separate offenses. - For example, robbery is a compound offense composed of larceny and assault.”

Beware of using an infracción-infraction translation because the English term is used many times, specifically in the context of criminal law, to mean an offense that is less than a crime, whereas infracción can be any offense, including felonies and misdemeanors.
