This is as close as I can get for the time being. What you need, to be more precise is something that doesn't stand 'on legs' but that is rather one full 'block'. Check pics on google:

Well found some pics but none for "totem directories", a few to totem signs:

Have also come across the term "pylon" for this type of self-standing sign. Looks good.
