I would really appreciate your help with this word.

It comes from a customer satisfaction survey about a gas supplier.

The question asked was:

"What is the main area where {gas supplier} needs to improve to make you more likely to recommend {gas supplier}?"

The answer in full is:

"Ao ser apresentado um problema técnico (CENTRAL DE GLP com grave erro de pressão) absteve-se de sua responsabilidade, havendo necessidades de definirmos urgência após passados mais de 15 dias,sem qualquer providência. E quando foi decidido sob nova solicitação, efetuou com displicência técnica, fornecendo um cavalete em péssimo estado a um técnico de empresa prestadora de serviço, estando o cavalete a substituir pior do que aquele que seria trocado."

This is from Brazil and is to be translated into UK English.

I've seen another KudoZ entry for this word translated as "water connection point" so could this be translated as "gas connection point" or "gas connector" or does it refer to something different in relation to gas.
