Hello,
I come across this term in a document dealing with radars but cannot find an English equivalent.
I get the technical gist of it, but am unable to find a translation.
TIA.
Unfortunately no context, just in a list.

Another term is simply a "clock", although this is used in a specialized hardware design context.
This is a signal providing a frequency reference. Depending on the use it could be for example a firing rate.

For the second instance I would use 'reference frequency'.
Clock is used in digital system design.

Note from asker:
Indeed it is for firing rate and I was going along the route of "clock" but your answer fits better in the general context of the list. |
I have come across another instance of this term along with "oscillatore pilota", and the text is clearly speaking of Tx antenna components as it is a diagram. Therefore, maybe "clock" is the correct reply? |
