"Parliamentary question" or something like that? I've seen this term before, but would like to make sure about the English equivalent.

Note from asker:
Thanks. I understand the literal meaning, but I get the impression that επίκαιρη ερώτηση is used in a very specific way in the context of the Greek Parliament. |
Your answer comes closest, but I hope it's understood that this refers very specifically to part of Greek parliamentary procedure. I now find that "topical questions" has a very specific meaning in the context of British parliamentary procedure. |

Thanks. I see your link also gives the term "Question Time", which is more familiar in the UK. |

: I am sorry I cannot agree with you. The equivalent of "Interpellation" in Greek is "Επερώτηση" which is a different type of question also submitted in Parliament in Greece.

Discussion
@ nevipaul - you really should have posted your link as an answer. I'm not sure I'd put "question of actuality" in the glossary, but it's very useful to have an overview of parl. procedure.
Of course, procedure is different in each country. I now find that in the context of the British parliament, "topical questions" has a very specific meaning: it's a 10- or 15-minute slot at the end of question time.
