German term

Doppel-Hubofen

German to English Tech/Engineering Metallurgy / Casting Smelting
Context:

"Arbeiten am Doppel-Hubofen sind nur durch geschultes Personal auszuführen."

Otherwise this is just referred to as an "Ofen" in this document, or a "Tundish" in parallel documents. I can find references to "Hubofen" on pages about furnaces of various kinds (cf. http://www.crystec.com/kllcerad.htm for example), but no English translation so far.
Proposed translations (English)

Discussion

David Williams (asker) Oct 4, 2010:
Entschuldige bitte Es ist in Zusammenhang mit einem Tundish. Um was für einen Ofen es sich genau handelt weiß ich auch nicht. Sonst ist nur von Ofen die Rede.
Bernd Runge Oct 4, 2010:
Tundish ist auf deutsch eine Gießwanne! Bitte nicht Unbekanntes mit Fragwürdigem erklären ...
Bernd Runge Sep 30, 2010:
Hubofen Ist es ein Hubbalkenofen oder ein Hubherdofen?

Note from asker:
Why do you say that? I was perfectly satisfied with the gist of the answer, but had to deduct points for poor spelling.
