Safety Products Catalogue
"Faßheber mit Schnellhub"
From a safety product catalogue. I'm doing excerpts of the catalogue rather than the whole catalogue, and in some cases, like this one, there is virtually no context. I do have an earlier catalogue to help me out (Faßheber is called "drum lifter" in the earlier catalogue), but unfortunately the drum lifter with "Schnellhub" seems to be a more recent addition to the lineup. One thing I can ascertain is that "drum lifters" seem to be attached to forklifts, and are designed specifically for lifting and transporting plastic or metal drums.
So does anyone know what "Schnellhub" might be? I'm currently guessing at "fast lifting" but am none too sure about it. Sorry for the lack of context, but I've done what I could. TIA for your assistance.

fast lifting action
Your guess is right: it's normally simply a pedal with which it is possible to lift the drum pretty quickly.

Can\'t find anything on the web that relates to drum lifters but it is similar to the one used on fork lifters (see link). I\'ve actually worked with these drum lifters (way back) and it could also be described as a fast-lifting pump or device. http://www.zakrem.pl/english_ver/w-pw/1001.htm

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "All the suggestions seem plausible, but rather surprisingly, none of them get much in the way of search engine hits. I quite liked "fast lifting action" though, and this was the most comprehensive answer, so I'll give Ingo the points on this occasion. Thanks for your ideas."
