component selection
These are components/materials for a sewage plant, so I hardly think rustic charm or hardiness will work. I'm wondering about simplicity, but does anyone have any other ideas?
Many thanks

durability
Applied to a plant, you might describe it as "hardy", but for machines and other structures I suggest durability.

: Actually I think "hardy" would work for machines etc. too.
