recouvrements

I'm just not sure on this one...

Suezen, thanks for the link!

Thanks everyone for the input - thanks SwissTell for the food for thought.;)

I just have one question: is the word "overlayers" really used? (In British English). Merci.:)
Non-ProZ.com Sep 8, 2004:
Hmm, so I did have the right idea after all...thanks (I'll be back).:)
Non-ProZ.com Sep 8, 2004:

Although both sound possible, I am wondering about 'longer layers', because one definition I have been finding for 'recouvrement' is 'overlap' - so I'm wondering if these might be those long layers that 'overlap' on top of the shorter ones? Thanks for the responses...I'll be back.:)

the touch-up

the dictionary indicates "coverage" for recouvrement, but I have the
feeling that in cosmetics this would be the make-up or something of that sort. But this is only to serve as first food for thought. By all means wait for further input.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Sara Freitas : this has to do with the length of each layer and how much of the underlayer it covers
