Press Proof? O.K. to Press?
I have the following text which defines the BAG but I find no English translation that is different from "Bon à Tirer".
TIA!

Prepress proof
It sounds very much like a prepress proof to me.
“Prepress proofing (also known as off-press proofing) is a cost-effective way of providing a visual copy without the expense of creating a press proof.” (Wikipedia)
The references given in other answers are from French sites, so those translations may be improvised. While they may be accurate, they are probably not jargon whereas prepress proof[ing] definitely is.
