Didier Fourcot Jan 7, 2014: In a catalog? I could understand this positioning reference in a manual explaining how to view or mount a shaft, but what can "face à soi" mean in a catalog? Like Patrick I doubt about "communicant par les fuites": this looks like gibberish
patrickfor Jan 7, 2014: I seriously doubt "communicant par les fuites".... In the context (eqpt for tractor) arbre is very probably a shaft. What is your issue with this very basic translation? What is it you don't get?
