"The purpose of a town hall meeting is to allow:
Management to keep their team up to date on important information.
The team to ask questions of management and give their feedback.
Everyone to understand the goals and values of the organization.
Town hall meetings also go by the name of All-Hands meetings. The term “all-hands” captures exactly who needs to attend the town hall meeting. Everyone!..."

Yes, it does
Town hall meetings, also referred to as town halls or town hall forums, an expression that originates mainly from North America, are a way for local and national politicians to meet with their constituents either to hear from them on topics of interest or to discuss specific upcoming legislation or regulation.

Much like a regular town hall or company-wide meeting, a virtual town hall is an online meeting where company leadership openly discuss various business-related topics with all employees. These meetings play an important role in creating alignment and building trust amongst remote employees, renewing their sense of belonging to the company.

For a moment I thought that might be a Japanese person living in Bulgaria. There are quite a few of them here.

: wrong headline language. English "monolingual" means just that. Your explanation is OK but what's the point of Bulgarian for a Japanese native?//:-)
