Mad Men
Hi,
The other day while watching “Mad Men”, I watched some people discussing driving. One of them talked of “practising one’s 10s and 2s”. Does that mean anything at all, or did I mishear?
All the best,
Simon

Position of the hands on the wheel
When you learn to drive, the best position to hold the wheel is at what is called "ten to two". The car is easiest to control then, although the position may be found uncomfortable until you get used to it. It therefore will need practising, and I'd say this is what they were talking about.
