English term

robust operating window

English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) label company
XXX
Designed specifically for the beer segment, the adhesive XXX offers a more ***robust operating window***, and significantly lower adhesive bleed. With up to 70% less adhesive bleed (versus industry standards), levels of adhesive contamination are far lower, meaning fewer clean-up operations at the printer and dispenser. XXX gives improved matrix stripping and an end to many existing compromises during high speed conversion.

YYY
Excellent wet-out and water whitening performance make the adhesive YYY a natural choice for those seeking a best-in-class ‘no label-look’. The adhesive is designed specifically for the wine & spirits segment, giving reliable conversion and dispensing of thin films and truly outstanding label transparency. Thinner facestocks bring many important productivity and sustainability benefits to wine & spirits labelling, but a ***robust operating window*** is essential to maintain a consistent premium appearance. YYY ensures reliable dispensing of the all important large label sizes and complex shapes that boost brand image. The adhesive has an improved ‘open time’ on glass for container reworking, reducing inventory cost and waste during line start-up.

English term (edited): offers a more robust operating window
Selected

considers a wider range of operating conditions as normal

I'm not good with technical writing, but I though you might appreciate a non-technical answer rather than none, Ana :).

If you Google "window of operation" you might find far more useful links; the problem being that "window" is a rather common term nowadays, particularly if you incude "Windows" in the terms found.

For an adhesive, I can imagine that the ambient temperature and humidity are two things that might affect the way it works. In the case of this particular glue, it will perhaps be less sensitive to those conditions, so it should fail to work less often.
