Monster trucks are the big wheelies often shown jumping and crushing over junk cars. I've never heard of a rally ever held for such vehicles because practically all of them are not road-legal. Monster truck is commonly called öµÕ¹âµ in Thai - literally meaning vehicle with enormous feet. Some car magazines just call them monster trucks. Sorry that I cannot find you a web reference for this term, but I am in the Asian motorsport circle <www.sr-motorsport.com>

Normally I hear ppl use the word "monster truck" on sports channel. I would think "garn-kaeng-rot-bantook-see-lor-yuk" might suit the purpose here.
garn-kaeng = competition, rally
rot-bantook = truck
see-lor = 4 wheels
yuk = huge
meaning the wheels are huge.
