PRESCRIPTION
The following applies as per 1 July 2010 or in case the policy becomes effective on a later date, this latter date will be decisive.
1 By negotiations as meant in section 7:942 subsection 3 BW (Civil Code) are also meant the report of the claim and any other written communication whereby a claim for compensation is made.
2 Subject to the transitional law regarding section 7:942 BW (Civil Code) the provisions in the insurance conditions on prescription after rejection of a claim are deemed to have been deleted.
