neutral Bourth (X) : While it CAN be a proper name (Cutie Pie dolls), I think here it can be treated in the same way as honey bunch, sweetheart, darling, my little cabbage, etc., which if you look hard enough you'll probably find are trademarks too!

We can't translate proper nouns. Just for example, we can't translate a Hindi name Bahadur Singh as Brave Lion in English. It'd simply be transliterated.
agree satish krishna itikela : I agree with langclinic, regarding bourth comment here he said that it can be treated as honey bunch, sweetheart and so on, i ask one thing why should the terms like these should only be treated i could not understand.

Cutie Pie, transliterated as is, in Hindi would be --> क्युटी पाई.
The word usually is used as a term of endearment, and in English, used generically, as well as gender-neutrally ! For example - a mother referring to her kid as cutie pie, or a wife referring to her husband as one :-) In Hindi, on the other hand, the mother would refer to her "cutie pie" as "Raaj Dulaaraa" (राज दुलारा), and the wife referring to her chosen one as "Merey Pyaarey" (मेरे प्यारे). [Please note that these are just examples, and not an exhaustive list ! :-))]

Cheers,

Sanjay.

agree nlingua : I think that merely transliteration would still leave a pure Hindi speaker at sea. A substitute term that is relevent 'in context' (as explained here by Sanjay) would be better - in my opinion.
