Es geht um Produktionsanweisungen eines weltweit tätigen US-Industrieunternehmens.
Der Text steht in einer umfangreichen Excel-Tabelle, in der zahlreiche Sonderwünsche von Kunden aufgeführt sind. Die Felder davor und dahinter haben keinen Bezug auf diesen Text, also nicht mehr Kontext.
"Customer is requiring ***cavity cut*** for this product. Since this is non-standard for this product plant says they can only cut with ONE blade at each 21 inch cut. There will be foam remaining uncut on opposite side of board.
Also are requiring odd lengths with -0.25/+0.25" tolerance. All other tolerances to meet Trade Specification 183725.
Customer agrees to accept product as produced with no returns accepted."
Unklar, um welches Produkt es geht. Es könnte sich um Bretter aus Schaumstoff handeln.

"Customer requesting 3.50 inch ***cavity cut*** foam which is beyond our standard thickness to be ***cavity cut***. ISO ***cavity cut*** never goes thru the board 100% and we have a normal 0.20-0.30 inch uncut foam in middle of board. Plant CANNOT adhere to this range for this thickness. The foam remaining uncut will range from 0.75 in-1.25in in the center. Product return will not be accepted. All ***Cavity cut*** will be sold in FULL JUMBO bundles."
