Source text - English Users have relied on batch files for various sorts for many years because they're quick to create, easy to understand, and painless to modify. Testing a batch file is simple - you don't need any fancy tools or a debugger. In fact, as far as any kind of programming goes, working with batch files represents the least difficult way to get started. You literally enter the commands in the same order as you do at the command prompt. With a little effort in Windows, you can cut and paste your way to a completed batch file.
One of the most interesting uses of batch files are the AutoExec.NT and Config.NT files used to configure the command line. These two files represent a significant opportunity to configure the command environment to meet specific needs without doing much more than selecting a menu option, yet most people miss this opportunity. This chapter demonstrates that a little code mixed with some simple instructions really can do a lot to make the command line environment a pleasure to work with.
Translation - Czech Uživatelé mnoho let spoléhali na dávkové soubory různých typů. Dají se rychle vytvořit, jsou snadno pochopitelné a lze je jednoduše upravit. Testování dávkového souboru je snadné - nepotřebujete žádné propracované nástroje nebo ladicí program (debugger). Práce s dávkovými soubory vlastně představuje ten nejjednodušší způsob, jak začít s programováním. Zadáváte příkazy doslova ve stejném pořadí, jako to děláte v příkazovém řádku. Ve Windows se s pomocí kopírování a vkládání snadno propracujete ke kompletnímu dávkovému souboru.
Jedním z nejzajímavějších příkladů využití dávkových souborů jsou soubory AutoExec.NT a Config.NT, které slouží ke konfiguraci příkazového řádku. Tyto dva soubory představují významnou možnost k nastavení příkazového prostředí podle konkrétních potřeb, aniž by to obnášelo o mnoho více práce než provedení volby v menu. Ale většina lidí tuto možnost opomíjí. Tato kapitola ukazuje, že krátký kód s několika základními instrukcemi skutečně může výrazně přispět k tomu, aby práce v prostředí příkazového řádku byla příjemná.

The controller features the following functionality:
Migration Dashboard: Status of the migration is accessible in real-time through a web client.
Migration Management: The migration manager can start, stop or pause any process at any time. Process management software insures correct startup, termination, monitoring and throttling of migration activities. The rate of migration is programmable on an hourly basis through the web client. Component downtime can be scheduled and studies can be searched and prioritized for immediate migration.
Safety thresholds: The move processes can be configured to pause if the send queue of its source archive server is higher then a specific threshold.
Reporting: Migration summary and historical data can be downloaded to a spreadsheet for easy formatting, graphing and reporting.

Ovladač zahrnuje následující funkce:
Kontrolní panel migrace: Průběh migrace lze sledovat v reálném čase prostřednictvím webového klienta.
Správa migrace: Správce migrace může spustit, zastavit nebo přerušit jakýkoliv proces v jakýkoliv okamžik. Software pro správu procesu zajišťuje správné zahájení, ukončení, sledování a regulaci migračních činností. Průběh migrace lze přes webové rozhraní naprogramovat po hodinách. Mohou být nastaveny dílčí doby nečinnosti, studie mohou být vyhledávány a přednostně určeny k okamžité migraci.
Bezpečnostní limity: Přenosové procesy mohou být nastaveny tak, aby se přerušily, pokud fronta odesílaná ze zdrojového archivního serveru je větší než stanovený limit.

Rates and volumes
My rates vary upon specific conditions of each translation (subject matter, volume, urgency, output format etc.). I always wish to reach mutual agreement with the customer. If required, I can also mediate a revision of the final translation by a Czech language expert.
On average, I'm able to translate approx. 2,200 words in a top-notch quality per a day. In a short time "burst" situation up to 3,500 words. The volume also depends on subject matter. Smaller tasks are fine with me (minimum rate per a job is EUR 25).
Availbility
I'm available on phone and e-mail throughout every day 9 am – 6 pm CET (8 am – 5 pm GMT, 4 am – 1 pm EST, 5 pm – 2 am JST), or as agreed in advance. High-speed Internet connection is a matter of course. Secondary PC and backup Internet connection available.
