Uma iniciativa da Fundação Grupo Boticário de Proteção à Natureza, em parceria com a Fundação Centros de Referência em Tecnologias Inovadoras – CERTI, trouxe para o mercado brasileiro uma bebida que contribui para a proteção da natureza. A cerveja de pinhão (semente da Araucária) é feita a partir de pinhões produzidos de acordo com padrões sustentáveis que protegem a Floresta com Araucárias, ecossistema associado à Mata Atlântica e que possui menos de 3% da sua cobertura original.
A bebida é produzida sazonalmente, apenas quando a extração do pinhão é autorizada. Para 2015 foram envasadas 45 mil garrafas, que têm como destino principalmente os mercados de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Santa Catarina e Rio Grande do Sul. Cerca de 800 kg de pinhão proveniente do planalto serrano de Santa Catarina foram utilizados na cerveja, que passou por cinco anos de testes antes de se tornar realidade.

An initiative of Boticário Group Foundation for Nature Protection, in partnership with Reference Centers in Innovative Technologies Foundation - CERTI has brought to the Brazilian market a beverage that contributes to the protection of nature. The pine nuts (Araucaria seed) beer is made from pine nuts produced according to sustainable standards that protect the forest of Araucaria, ecosystem associated with the Atlantic Forest which has less than 3% of its original cover.
The drink is produced seasonally, only when the pine nuts extraction is allowed. For 2015, 45,000 bottles were potted, which targets mainly the markets of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. About 800 kg of pine nuts from the mountainous plateau of Santa Catarina were used in beer which went through five years of testing before becoming a real product.

Source text - English It is well established that gestures are a suitable means of conveying spatially complex information (Beattie & Shovelton, 2006; Beattie & Shovelton, 2009; Kita & Özyürek, 2003; Lausberg & Kita, 2003). Explaining mathematical equivalence problems is more effective if the teacher’s verbal explanations are accompanied by gestures (Cook & Goldin-Meadow, 2006). (This effect, however, is not limited to spatial topics. Also non-spatial topics are understood and recalled better if the verbal explanations are accompanied by gestures (Cohen & Otterbein, 1992; Feyereisen, 2006)). There is, however, also evidence that gestures that accompany descriptions not only improve the recipient's understanding, but also help the gesturer to think about space and to formulate spatial topics. When talking about spatial topics, more speech accompanying gestures are displayed than when talking about non-spatial topics (Lavergne & Kimura,1987), especially when the speakers talk about their own movement in space (Emmorey et al., 2000). If speakers are prevented from producing gestures while talking about spatial topics, they speak more slowly and hesitantly than if prevented from producing gestures when talking about non-spatial topics. Pupils who gesture when explaining mathematical problems show better performances than pupils who do not gesture (Cook & Goldin-Meadow, 2006; Ehrlich et al., 2006).
