Job description:
We are seeking Spanish<>English interpreters to facilitate communication between disaster victims and US government representatives starting August 2024 for three months or longer on a full-time or part-time basis.

Requirements:

- US citizen or permanent resident
- Residence in Texas
- Experience as a professional interpreter
- Reliable transportation
- Available to work onsite in Texas in:
-- Harris County (Houston)
-- Montgomery County (north of Houston)
-- Calhoun County (north of Corpus Christi)
-- Guadalupe County (NE of San Antonio)
-- Dallas County (Dallas)
- Available from August 2024 to November 2024 or longer
- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
- Community (including medical) interpreter training
- Court or medical interpreting experience
- Interpreter certification
