I am missing the option "Your price/rate". The industry is in a self-destructive race to the bottom and I have no intentions to "win" this race.

I’d say that they prioritize the price on an accurate quote…

Rate and experience, obviously Jun 4

Who would pick a candidate depending on the length of his quote?
The answers proposed seem to lack the most important criteria, which are clearly rate and experience.

Price vs budget Jun 4

When I submit a price for a job, the client normally wants me to do the job and not someone else. They know about me from a museum, gallery, colleague, from past work I've done for them, or whatever, so what they want to know is if they can afford the price. If it fits their budget, they accept.

I have suggested prices over the phone or by e-mail that have been turned down, but the last time I submitted a formal quotation that was not accepted was in March 2011. I assumed it was be

I have suggested prices over the phone or by e-mail that have been turned down, but the last time I submitted a formal quotation that was not accepted was in March 2011. I assumed it was because they (a regional government) had their own translator but had to have three quotations in order for the tender process to be valid. However, now that I think about it, maybe they simply discovered that I'm not a very good translator - you never know

Important options are missing Jun 4

If I have to chose among the options we have, obviously "an accurate quoting", but in the real world this comes after

1) Can you offer a lower rate? Yes, sure, actually I would pay you to work for you.
2) incredibly low rates
3) very low rates
4) low rates
5) acceptable rates
6) experience + incredibly low rates
7) good experience + low rates

Joking aside, an accurate quoting is usually appreciated, but the first thing people want to

Most probably look at price only ... Jun 4

... and those are the ones I never hear from. The assignments I've done through the job board were always from clients who appreciated my profile and flawless application. I've posted jobs myself as well, so I know from experience that that isn't a given; most applications are rubbish and many others are okayish at best.
